Councillor Linda Holt required a website to showcase her ward, promote her work, and provide another avenue for engagement with constituents.

Based on the WordPress platform, we developed a responsive theme that would display nicely on desktops and mobile devices.

We captured photographs from across the East Neuk ward to display on a slider on the homepage,  and act as featured images on sub-pages,and within the footer of the website.

We connected the site to her Social Media accounts to help with cross-posting on social media and to compliment her own social media posts.

We added a section to highlight her colleagues in Fife Council and provide additional contact details for her colleagues.

Accessibility was very important to Cllr Holt so we integrated ‘UserWay’ that provides useful tools that can be used by site visitors including Keyboard navigation, font & cursor enlargement, desaturate colours, high contrast, legible fonts, and the ability to have the content read to the end user.
